Despite the struggles to get to the mountain and the obvious dangers in going, Machu Picchu was fabulous.

Here are some of our favorite pictures:

Look close and you’ll see the whole clean through near the top. I’m pretty sure there are yet to be discovered passageways and rooms inside.

Better than a movie set.

This is one big mountain.

Not a bad view this way either.

I’d love to get in here after dark.

I bet they didn’t play with balls a lot.
